I’m not usually one for buying loads of beauty items however, I had to take advantage of the Dr Botanicals Secret Sale that they had on a week or so ago. My items arrived quickly, not only have I saved some money but I’ve bought products I wouldn’t normally go for.
I’m a sucker for a bargain and have tried to be good to keep my spending to a minimum, I’m trying to use up products that I have instead of buying new ones however a lot of the products I have gone for will be replacing products once they have been used as I like to make sure I’ve got another in. There’s nothing worse than finishing something then having to wait days for another to arrive…….That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.
The first things that I snapped up was these 2 gorgeous diffusers for the house. We’re currently decorating our bedroom so I knew they would be perfect for when it’s finished. I chose the Ultrasonic Pod Aroma Diffuser and Humidifier and the OB Tropical Fruits Reed Diffuser which smells amazing! I can’t wait to try out the aroma diffuser as I’ve been looking for one for ages. I’m hoping it will be great to help make the bedroom much more relaxing.
And then I filled my cart with a few products that I’ve been wanting to try out and that I thought looked amazing. I treated myself to the Grapefruit & Watermelon Refreshing Cleanser, Cranberry Superfood Healthy Skin Night Moisturiser, Coffee Superfood Renewing Facial Exfoliator, Cocoa Noir Sensuous Hand Cream, Mandarin Orange Restorative Eye Serum and the Intelligent Tea Tree Fast Blemish Treatment.
I needed a new cleanser so can’t wait to give this one a go as it sounds lovely and fresh. I’ve tried a sample of the Coffee facial exfoliator before and loved that so treated myself to the full-size jar. I’m hoping the Cranberry night moisturiser will help keep my skin hydrated during these colder months, I’ve not tried it before so looking forward to giving that one a go.
Then you have the hand cream, which I always have to have because I’m obsessed and they are a staple in my beauty cupboard, This sounds so nice especially with the cocoa in it. It’ll keep my hands hydrated form all the washing and hand sanitiser. I’ve started to get into using eye creams and serums lately (not sure if it’s because my eyes always look tired from working) so was interested in giving this a try and the fact that it’s Mandarin means it will smell fresh and nice. Can’t wait to see how well it works. Lastly is the tea tree blemish treatment, I thought this might be handy to have when I get my breakouts around my most hormonal times, which is usually when I get my period and the week after. It’s in a nice size bottle so will be great to carry out and about with you.
I like this brand and even though I’ve only tried a few of their products I’ve been impressed and they are becoming a fave brand of mine.
Have you tried any of these?? What did you think?? Did you buy anything from their secret sale??
