Review | Skin Alchemists Charred Rose Artisan Soap

Soaps, I’m a massive fan and I’m forever trying new ones. I have a thing about washing my hands and making sure they’re clean more so now we’re not only in the middle of a pandemic but growing so closer to flu season so that means there’s even more bugs and germs about.

This lovely Artisan soap was in my August Re.Fresh Edit of The Natural Beauty Box and I was quite excited about it, especially as I have tried some products from the Skin Alchemists before and have loved them. Skin Alchemists are a fabulous high-end brand that has some of the most luxurious products. You either got Charred Rose or Fresh Mint. The one I received was the Charred Rose.

Skin Alchemists – Artisan Soap Charred Rose £9.50/100g

The scent of this soap was really lovely and floral and I love the design. These soap have a creamy lather to them and they aren’t too drying on your skin. Packed with natural glycerine and enriched with skin-loving extra virgin olive and coconut oil and African shea butter. Turn your shower into a Caribbean escape. Lovingly hand poured in their London studios and cured for eight weeks.

Their artisan soap bars are artfully designed using detoxifying charcoal, skin purifying French pink clay and powdered hibiscus which helps to naturally brighten skin. Essential oils of Egyptian geranium and palmarosa helps tone skin and give an uplifting rosy scent. This bar is a conditioning, brightening and purifying soap that leaves your skin feeling soft and clean. This is a great soap bar for dry and sensitive skin types.

Skin Alchemists have 6 other scents in their Artisan Soap Bar range;

Goats Milk, Oat & Honey, Fresh Mint, Cafe Latte, Dark Matter, Sundown & Surfer’s Paradise.

This is the brand you would splurge on because they are more expensive compared to other brands, however, you know you’re getting a quality product that uses only the best ingredients and the products last. I would love to try the other soaps they have as this one has been so pleasant and nice to use. the packaging is chic. I’ve been using this soap no since I received my box and the scent is still there, I find with a lot of soaps after a while they do tend to disappear. I love that everything about these is done by hand including the cutting of the bars.

Have you tried these soaps?? Which one do you like??

    That soap looks amazing! I love buying soaps from local shops – such a great way to be sustainable (by choosing bar over bottle) AND shop small too!
