Sample Sunday | Moroccan Rose Facial Oil

It’s a new year so that means I’ve got lots of new samples to try out and review for you lovely lot each week. I’m back with the first one of the year and it’s something I chose from my bottomless sample box.

I really like the Dr Botanicals products and was really excited to try this one out. I’ve been using this lovely Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil. Even though it’s a 15ml size bottle you still get so much product in it. I’ve already been using this for about 3 weeks now.

Application

Apply 2-3 drops of facial oil onto your four fingertips (exclude the thumb), rub fingertips lightly together and gently press oil onto your cheeks, forehead and then chin.

I really like this serum, you don’t need a lot of it as it’s really concentrated and infused with lots of great vitamins, essential oils and botanical extracts for a brighter, more even skin tone. I’ve been using this mostly at night but you can also use it in the mornings to help create that perfect base for makeup. Moroccan Rose Oil contains high levels of Vitamins A & C which aim to rejuvenate the skin and reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Almond Oil aims to deeply moisturise and nourish the skin, whilst brightening and renewing the appearance. Vitamin E aims to prevent skin damage and protect against free radicals because of its antioxidant properties. It’s not oily at all and absorbs into the skin really quickly.

Would I buy the full-size product??

I’d happily buy this again, however, it wouldn’t be my first choice of serum. It’s great for all skin types and I definitely recommend it for more mature skin as it does work well. This 15ml bottle retails at £19.90 and the 30ml bottle retails at £39. This will last you quite a while too as a little goes a long way.

Have you tried this serum before?? What did you think??
